LED displays have two power ratings: maximum power and average power. Maximum power occurs when all LEDs are at full brightness (white screen). Average power is typically 30-50% of maximum for normal content.
Multiply the power consumption per square meter by your total screen area. For example: 600W/m² × 20m² = 12,000W maximum power.
Add 20% safety margin to account for power supply efficiency and peak loads: 12,000W × 1.2 = 14,400W.
Always work with a qualified electrician for large LED installations to ensure safety and code compliance.
